A native of New York, Scott attended Northwestern University, receiving bachelor’s degrees in bassoon performance and political science, and the Meadows School for the Arts at Southern Methodist University, where he obtained his master’s degree in bassoon performance. Scott loves to travel and he avidly follows Northwestern Wildcat football.
